The Young Theatre Workshops are for Year 7, 8 and 9 students, thus catering for the 11 to 14 age range (Secondary school years 7, 8, 9, {10}). 

When students move into Yr 10, the tutors may suggest they stay as a member of Young Workshop for a further year, OR, they may decide that the time is right for them to move into the Youth Theatre Workshop.

Our policy of open membership (no auditions) means that previous experience is not necessary but energy, dedication and enthusiasm are ESSENTIAL.

Currently we run two Young Theatre Workshop companies:

Monday evenings 5.30 – 7.30pm

Wednesday evenings 5.30 - 7.30pm 

Each company follows our traditional approach to creating a production which is performed in the summer term.
