Pell Ensemble present

David

Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd April 7pm & 9pm

Pell Ensemble invites you into the world of EPOQ: a place of where your data becomes a Lived Experience™.  Using your mobile phone you will interact with David, shaping Davids movements and the projections and sound around you and David. Only with your input can David come to life and become truly human.

Join us, as one of 40 audience members, in our quest to shape the future of your digital world.

You are only the sum of your data.

Asking important questions about how data-gathering is shaping our world and sense of self, this intimate dance performance employs you and your mobile phone to explore our possible future in human and digital form. Will we continue to upload for an easier life or will we unplug and preserve our humanity?

Choreographer and Artistic Director of Pell | Ensemble, Rebecca Evans is the recent The BENCH commission awardee with her recent work 'The Other' touring internationally with 2Faced Dance.

'David' is a collaboration between Pell | Ensemble, interactive designers Invisible Arts, Clarisse O'Dell and David Altweger.  Sound-score by Ehud Freedman, text and dramaturgy by Adam Peck.

Commissioned by Bedford Creative Arts.
